Embrace: A Space to Dance Together

We invite you to partake in a lovingly curated movement space that encourages a community of folx who express themselves and find nourishment through delicious feeling, intentional partner dance.

There are many spaces to dance by yourself. We long for the connection available when we consciously and intentionally choose to share coherent movement with another human (or humans).

There are many spaces to move energy in a totally organic, free-form manner. We relish the structure offered by the firm, supple frame of another body showing up to co-create deliciousness with us.

Humanity: an Open Floor Movement inquiry series

The qualities that makes us human
A 6-week series with Anneli Molin-Skelton

How do we cultivate what makes us human: our ability to love and have compassion, our creativity and our kindness. Can we embrace ourselves and this life in all its realness without contracting? It takes tremendous courage to speak our truth and live with an available heart.

Through the practice of Open Floor, we will explore how we can have a deeper intimacy with life, with ourselves and with each other. We will discover how to fully inhabit our entire selves and move from what is fixed to what is fluid.  We will use movement and inquiry to liberate our bodies and become our tender, compassionate, alive and engaged selves.

Dance First Spotlight on Adam Barley and ZeroOne!

Plan ahead for “Truth”
ZeroOne workshop April 19-21 in Prague, Czech Republic
Not abstract truth such as ‘Love is All’, nor the truth of stories about what we have lived through, but specific, personal, in-the-present truth such as ‘My heart is breaking’, or ‘I love you’, or ‘I am shy with you right now’.
This the kind of honesty we find when we dance. We get to see what’s really going on, within ourselves and each other, when we bear witness to the unfolding moment of the moving body.

Monday Love to your Growing Gratitude

“ The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.”

 ~ Lao Tzu

Would you like to know the secret sauce for well-being? How about a panacea for the worlds problems? Perhaps just a worthwhile activity that you may have been missing.

No, I’m not talking about dance. Although, as I’m sure you well know, that equally fits the bill. In fact, what I’m talking about could be considered a form of dance in and of itself if you zoom out a little further.
