We invite you to
partake in a lovingly curated movement space that encourages a community
of folx who express themselves and find nourishment through delicious
feeling, intentional partner dance.
There are many
spaces to dance by yourself. We long for the connection available when
we consciously and intentionally choose to share coherent movement with
another human (or humans).
Gold Country Fusion Underground Exchange
The Underground Exchange is etched from the vision of the early Fusion Community Exchanges: house parties that never end, spacious days for local adventures and relaxing on the Yuba River, and good, easy-going vibes. We will have a special event on Saturday night where we will dance in the nearby National Forest until dawn, akin to Recess Saturday nights.

A moving exploration of the magic of improvisational theater in motion: to contact what inside you is hidden or forgotten; to explore and express what wants to move, breathe, and live.
We will work with music, dance, breath, dreams, imagination, everyday objects and ritual to awaken creativity, shamanic shapeshifting, and expanded consciousness.
Travels into Trance, Bois Le Comte, Belgium
Travels into Trance is an exploration into form and formlessness, shape and shape shifting, matter and molecules.
Through moving and traveling with a number of movement portals, we will explore how we can expand into a lightness of being, journeying through the physical patterns and movements that come through our body again and again. Inviting a dance of fluidity and the understanding that everything changes.
Into The Dark, Yorkshire Dales, UK
We’re heading into the darkest part of the year here in the Northern Hemisphere.
This weekend will explore opening to a sense of deep rest, the art of pausing and the heart movement inherent in that space.
We will explore, in movement and with enquiry, the illumination and spaciousness available to us in the darkness.
What Spaciousness awaits? What possibilities in this very natural landscape…
We will be working with the Open Floor movement map, specially prepared soundscapes, enquiry and some simple ritual in very good company.

Thursday, August 31, the Full Blue Super Moon, graces us with her presence. Full moons are glorious wherever she can be seen…and at Lake Orta, at Centro, the moon rises over the trees and bamboo, illuminating our walkways, glistening on the Lake and Centro’s pool, where we can dance from the fire circle to the pool deck, honoring all traditions who observe the lunar cycles.
Fusion is defined as ‘blending, combining, mingling, merging, commingling and on and on’. In this program, through these alchemical processes, our shared intention is to fuse our own body, mind, heart, spirit, emotions with our own soul…and from that place, commune, connect, and unite through a shared heartbeat, with members of our Fusion group….and extend this connection outward to all sentient beings.

There can be untold spaciousness, light, colour, inspiration and resource.
Over our time together, we’ll move, play, enquire and explore the illumination and spaciousness that may be available to us in darkness.
When we take away how many of us habitually see, look and assimilate information – what is there for us to ‘see’ in the dark?

Medicine Dance is an expressive-arts modality closely aligned with improvisational dance. We practice mindfully tracking, verbalizing and exploring the body’s impulses while being deeply witnessed by our selves and other(s), in partnerships and in groups. This mindful movement practice encourages greater resiliency and comfort in navigating the basic human pendulations between autonomy and communion, bringing ever greater consciousness to the bridge between sensing and making sense.
